David is just no longer David. Pia is distraught and at the end of her tether. Her husband deserted from the US army and is severely traumatised from his deployment in Iraq. He cannot get a grip on his insomnia and his fits of rage. He refuses therapy. Instead the pair tries to build a normal life together in Germany and to put the past behind them. But their relationship is put to the test again and again.

This question marks the invisible bond between three different people in Buenos Aires - a dreamy street musician (Mauricio Muriel), a skeptical escort lady (Cecilia Patalano) and a doorman with a phobia of elevators (Ramiro Lehkuniec) who still lives with his mother. Their weekly sessions with their therapists - in Buenos Aires as normal as the daily lunch break - and their coincidental encounters with each other in the jungle of the big city suddenly lead them to a point where they have to decide: Go on as before or turn their life upside down for a change of scenery, a 'cambio de aire'?
